Chasing the Truth

How can you keep a child from his mother AND privately trash her with relatives?

My aunt told me that my son is better off without me because I used to yell a LOT. Why? Because my family is infuriating and basically used me as a free nanny to raise my own son.

I have full sole custody of my ten year old. My folks are “filling in” so to speak so I can get my mental health and financial situation to a better place to offer my son stability within a year or two. Well, I’ve been told I can’t handle him or have him back. Not so. As long as I am on my meds and deemed competent in the eyes of the court, along with the addition of my soon to be husband, I am free to take him back with me to state of Utah where I am officially a resident.

There are so many better things in Utah and out west in general for autistic/disabled children. It’s in my son’s best interest to bring him to one of the freest and most moral states in the union. Utah is the only state that doesn’t recognize common law marriage. I am probably unable to have anymore children. I’ll be lucky if I have one more. Very lucky. I love my son and I want to be with him. I want to enjoy the years I do have left of his youth while I try to make up for what I’ve missed before he starts chasing the truth.
